The College has one N.C.C. Companies. The ‘C’ certificate holders in N.C.C. get reservation in Military Services for the post of officers. They are also entitled to get 5% weightage for admission to the institutions of higher education. Our cadets have been selected to participate in the  Republic Day Parade  in National Capital from time to time. Our student of B.A.III (Under Officer) Mr. Gurmeet Singh (2006), got the honour of participating in the  Republic Day Parade. The infantory unit of N.C.C. works in the college for imparting Army training to the students. Interested students should contact Dr. Devi Bhushan, the officer-in-charge NCC.

NCC Activities

NCC is highly reputed body which is also a second line of defense other than just military training the cadets also learn several other valuable things such as selflessness, unity, discipline, honestly, hard work and ways to build confidence and gain leadership qualities. To inculcate all the qualities mentioned above among students, a unit of NCC army wing is working successfully in the college under the able supervision of Lieutenant (Dr.) Devi Bhushan. The followings are the achievements of our cadets:

  • Cadet Gurpinder, Sanjeev Kumar and Gurpreet participated in Republic Day Parade held at Rajpath, New Delhi.
  • O. Talvinder Singh got 8th position in International Air Rifle Shooting Championship held at Singapur in 2008-09
  • Aastha represented Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Chandigarh directorate at prestigious. All India Thal Sena Camp-2018 held at New Delhi.
  • First position at District level parade on the occasion of Independence day -2019 awarded Trophy by Hon’ble Minister of State, Manish Grover.
  • Second position at Dist. Level Parade on the occasion of Republic Day Parade-2019 awarded

trophy by Hon’ble Speaker of Haryana Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kanwar Pal.

  • CATC-13-2016-17 GIMT Kanipala: Cadet Sandeep won Gold Medal in Shooting.
  • Second Prize at Dist. Level first aid competition organized by St. John Ambulance Association.
  • National integration Camp (4th to 5th June 2018) held at Amritsar.
